Whilst the course is particularly suitable for kaiako teaching year 7-10 students, it is still appropriate for kaiako teaching students leading up to year 7 and beyond year 10. This course is a repeat of the one held earlier in the year.

This two-day workshop is designed to support kaiako in understanding our natural world, and the facilitation of mātauranga Māori through authentic learning contexts. This is an opportunity to interact with Pūtaiao from a Māori worldview through pūrākau and maramataka. We invite kaiako who are teaching Pūtaiao and/or Science, and those who have a particular interest in mātauranga Māori.
