This two-day workshop is designed to support kaiako in understanding our natural world, and the facilitation of mātauranga Māori through authentic learning contexts. This is an opportunity to interact with Pūtaiao from a Māori worldview through pūrākau and maramataka. We invite kaiako who are teaching Pūtaiao and/or Science, and those who have a particular interest in mātauranga Māori.

This two-day Ako Panuku Wānanga Reo is designed specifically for teachers focusing on improving teacher language through a focus on grammar, error identification, and teaching strategies. Te reo Māori is the main language of instruction and learning at wānanga reo. You will be expected to communicate as much as possible in te reo Māori.
