Jess is a Treaty Lawyer and a strong advocate within the wider whai kaha community, being involved in Enabling Good Lives Waikato. Tuhoro is a Policy and Strategy Manager at Waikato-Tainui and is passionate about supporting and realising the aspirations of whānau, marae, hapū and iwi. As mātua to a taonga takiwātanga, Jessica and Tuhoro share their lived experience of living with takiwātanga and how whānau and professionals can incorporate more inclusive practices through a te ao Māori lens.
