Tracey Rountree - Aroreretini Overview: Laying the FoundationTracey Rountree is an ADHD Coach and Workplace Manager at Beehive Health. She has also developed and facilitated parent courses and professional workshops for agencies, organisations and Schools for over ten years. By delivering up-to-date, evidence-based information and strategies that accommodate the ADHD brain, her aim is to increase understanding and acceptance of ADHD to support those affected by the condition. Through her lived experience of ADHD, Tracey can bring a unique personal perspective from both raising ADHD children and being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. Tracey is a Board Member of ADHD New Zealand, with a BSc in Psychology. This presentation aims to create a solid base of understanding for recognising and addressing the complexities of Aroreritini/ADHD in educational contexts. It will define ADHD and explore core characteristics, including inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Attendees will learn about common co-existing conditions and how ADHD presents in different settings. The session will provide practical information for educators and support staff to better understand and support students with ADHD, fostering a more effective learning environment.
