Ako Panuku invites you to a two-day professional learning workshop in Auckland on 25–26 February 2026, designed to give you clarity, confidence, and practical understanding of the new wāhanga ako — so you know what matters most and how to apply it in your teaching context. 

By participating in this workshop, you will: 
  • be able to navigate the new wāhanga ako and locate the key sections and information relevant to your role 
  • gain clarity on the intended outcomes and where to focus your teaching and planning develop a strong understanding of the core teaching approaches that support Te Reo Rangatira 
  • feel confident and prepared to develop an appropriate teaching plan and language programme aligned to the wāhanga ako.
